I’ve done a very little bit of yoga in the past, and I want to really get into a regular routine of yoga and meditation. I really don’t have the money to start taking classes on a regular basis, but I know proper technique is important, which I may not get just from some yoga DVDs. Any suggestions for starting out?

What’s the difference between Pilate’s and Yoga? I practice Pilate’s one in a while when I am stressed or when my body is in pain :/. Yoga seems to be similar but what’s the difference.

Also which one is your favorite and are any good DVDs you would recommend to do at home?

I’ve never taken a class like this before and am a little cynical about the “yoga type”.None of my friends want to take this with me and I also am not a fan of half naked people in my face plus the classes are a trek. Anyone know any good Yoga dvds? I want to be toned and fabulous.

I want to lose weight, pilates and yoga helps, but what are some good dvds and tapes?

I’m interested in Yoga and would like to buy some DVDs so I can start doing it at home — can anyone who’s experienced with Yoga give me any tips for buying the right DVD?
