I’ve been doing yoga for a while, and I definitly can feel a deference in how I am able to move now. The guys on my yoga tapes are bendy to the extreme though. Any yoga gurus out there, please let me know how many months, years, etc. it takes to have a great range of motion, and a ton of flexibility.

I’ve always wanted to be more flexible and have stronger abs, even muscle in general.
How long do you think it will take before i start to see real results? Both in flexibility and a flatter stomach?
And, is there anyway i can help improve outside of class?

I am interested in starting yoga. I am an 18 year old athletic guy. I only know a little bit about yoga from what I’ve read online. I am not sure which yoga to do. They all seem to have such great benefits. I don’t want to miss out on the benefits of any of them. Is there a yoga that incorporates all of the elements(ie, breathing, meditation, flexibility, strength, endurance, spirituality, stress relief, etc)? I want to cover all my bases and take a well rounded approach. Right now, I just do meditation and I jog and do calisthenics. I am really excited to know more about yoga.

I am still having a difficult time with my back stance still, are there great yoga moves that can help with this stance. I dont know if its because my knees arent flexible or my ankles…. It’s so annoying not to be able to just flow into the back stance without feeling ur back going forward or putting too much weight on the front foot ugh….

I know there are different types of yoga. Which is for someone who has a build of 5′5″ and 110 pounds ( so no weight loss, or heavy-sweating type yoga)? I just want to maintain flexibility and give myself more energy without coffee.
