I’ve been trained on pre-natal yoga and I’m trying to set up a class. So far, I’ve placed some advertistments in Dr’s offices. But have only recieved tepid responses. What do I tell my students who are calling wanting a class when I haven’t built up the numbers yet to start a class. I’m looking to have a least 6 people in my class.

I jacked my back up while I was in the marines. I have a couple herniated discs, and now arthritis. Is yoga a good and safe exercise to possibly help heal and strengthen the back muslces?

Are there different types of power yoga? How are hatha, asana, astanga, and asana yoga related? I want a book that includes all of the possible movements. How do these people go about choosing the exercises and poses that they include in their book? Why not just include all of the movements? Can you just take any of the poses and make up your own sequences? Or are there certain ones that need to go together? I can’t find a satisfying yoga book because I feel like if I choose one, I’ll be missing out on stuff that might be in other books. Is there a book that contains it all?

My mom really likes yoga after reading so much about it from books she bought, and she would really like to try it some time. However, the problem is that she had undergone kidney transplant, which sort of complicates things. Therefore would yoga be appropriate for people that have undergone kidney transplant, and if it is, what postures are to be avoided, or can be done?
she has consulted her doctor and her doctor asked her to go ahead..

I want to become more flexible and fit! People tell me I should start Yoga if I want that, and people tell me I should start Pilates if I want that… Can you please tell me what the difference is between Yoga and Pilates please? What one would be better for me to take, and would they take a 12 year old? Thanks!
